Companion planting is a natural and highly expedient method of cultivation, involving the grouping together of plants that make good neighbours.  The selection of mutually beneficial plants, the seasonal preparation of suitable beds as well as soil composition, composting, organic pest control and preserving gardening produce are all dealt with here.

Gertrud Franck’s health-giving organic gardening methods are based on 35 years of practical experience and experiment cultivating her gardens in Germany.  She has also lectured on agricultural and horticultural subjects and had contributed articles on health and gardening to various national magazines.
