This book describes the application of plant pathology to horticultural crop production.  It includes detailed examples illustrating modern methods used in the control of bacteria, fungi and viruses.  Particular emphasis is laid on the practical and cost effective aspects of control methods.  In the book, these is a concise and up to date analysis of use of resistant cultivars, chemicals, spraying methods, and plant health regulations in pathogen control.  In addition there is clear evaluation of cultural and biological methods of pathogen control in the field and in stored products.
